I'm not familiar with the more recent releases from basement jaxx but their earlier 12"s - Fly Life, Sleazycheeks, and Samba Magic - are fabulous tech-house/hard-house releases that fit in really well with the Lowlands techno sound (ala 100% Pure) from the mid-90s. In fact one of the basement jaxx releases featured remixes by lowlanders Steve Rachmad (aka Sterac) and Orlando Voorn. So Basement Jaxx may be mainstream fodder to some now but at one time they were very underground and cutting edge. -- -->-Lance---- PO Box 450715 Westlake, OH 44145 United States --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
