While we're on the subject - is it just me, or are labels getting extra
wack lately when it comes to those "hidden" tracks on CDs?
WARP are IMHO the baddest offenders I can think of right now, what with
the 20+ minutes of silence on the last Squarepusher EP, or the last
track on LP5... :(
<rant>
Didn't it ever occur to those labels that this is f***ing disturbing?
Often, I'm lying on my bed, reading while listening to a few CDs, and
there's nothing that is nastier than a CD you have to run to the PC for
to skip over huge amounts of silence... *ARGH*

Please - if you _NEED_ to put a hidden track on a disc, keep it to a
minute of silence or less, okay? It _ISN'T_ fun, it isn't even new
anymore, and it really isn't hidden - I mean any decent CD player will
show you the track's length (duh)... o_O
Anybody agree with me?
