i dont know if i agree with the "is it idm enough" bit because i think people's reactions to music they have followed for a long time go a bit deeper than that, but i cannot agree enough on how true it is to see noise/hardcore kids react to some of the more extreme side of "conventional" electronic/idm artists. they eat that shit up, and it is one of the reasons i REALLY appreciate folks like kid606.. they bridge a gap that folks really would not have considered a few years back.. and that is wonderful!! it is also nice to see folks like autechre do the same, as well as mouse on mars.. oh, and mziq attracted folks at coachella thatim sure would have otherwise shunned softer electronic music when he went more extreme its like an outreach program :) anyway, just random babble chris. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
