So I went in expecting an abstract, static-y bit of noise.
I was expecting material similar to confield was was very pleased / suprised when they they went for the mechanical malfunction beat structure. All in allthey were tight as hell, and I got a glimpse of all the openers who I was equally impressed with. All I can say about autechre, or the show for that matter, was that it was relentless. Sure it went on and on, but most people stood their ground during the torrent of sound beat the hell out their hearing instead of bailing. But then again I would only recommend these type of shows to those who really started to dig the autechre sound around LP5. I thought Rob Hall was great by the way, but then again if I have to drive 200 miles to see a damn show I'm going to appreciate on some level.
