Well, nothing else on Schematic besides Ritchie Devine's recent stuff sounds even close to Von Schirach's stuff. That IS a pretty insane album. I'm really glad Schematic is venturing into that kind of territory. Here's what I had to say about it a while back: "8000B.C." is a fine album to say the least. Definitely one of the more singular efforts I've heard recently. Similar to Devine's work in its manic programming and almost complete lack of melody, but his textures are somewhat less synthetic than Devine's and his programming is a lot more disjunct. His stuff is less sort of stoic and more playful than Devine's work. His tracks do suffer from the sort of sameyness that's also found in Devine's work though.
