Well, if it's not on the floor, chances are they don't have it anywhere
accessible. I suppose you might get a response similar to the one you
described if you saw some rare stuff listed as available on their website
(via their DB search engine) and went in there asking for it. Not saying
that this is what you did, but they've always been very helpful to me.
