Well, "getting" something and understanding something are two different things. Not understanding a selection of music implies (to me) that the listener is having trouble comprehending what he/she is qualifying what he/she is listening to as music altogether. Not "getting" something implies that the listener hasn't mustered enough appreciation for the music just yet. Seriously though, I don't think there's anyone on this list that doesn't understand (by the above definition) any artist's music we discuss here. ======================================================================= Brian MacDonald <brianm@kuci.org> ======================================================================= --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
