Yup, it's a trite argument (your sarcasm noted). But that doesn't mean it's
always wrong. Some of my favorite music is stuff that left me cold at first,
until I somehow "got" it. And even though folks on this list never seem to
admit it (I wonder why?), most people I know have similar experiences.
