When asked to contribute, I thought the same thing. Then I realized the
correct question was not "why?", but rather "why not?" And then I
realized that if I'd already recorded sort-of tributes to Japanese models
and now-grown-up former teen starlets, this idea was hardly a big hop,
skip, or jump. (And, hey, I'll take inspiration wherever I find it.)
Since it seems the original idea came from Kid606, maybe he can explain.
I think the disc will be a compelling mix of different styles, and humor,
and deadly seriousness.
