That would help the idm list tremendously.

Music yes....let's discuss.
Personal bitching and gossiping on things
that ( I'm guessing ) a large percentage of this list have no
real involvement with, no.

If you go back to the root of this tired thread, you'll
find more than 3 posts, I guarantee it. 3 posts started it
and now we have loads of posts on it.

And that certain members of this list ( which is about music, yes )
have decided to turn this into a "whos side are you on" issue.
How juvenile.

Actually part of the reason I wrote an ( admittedly ) nasty remark
like that is that I'm always amazed at how much people really
*do* make issues like these very much a personal part of their
lives. I think that idm has gone from a musical subgenre to a
lifestyle, which is strange. Over the past few months on this
list, I've noticed a growth in numbers of individuals who seem
to embrace a lifestyle culture based on idm- down to their idm
haircuts, their idm clothes, their idm cars, their idm
favorite recipes,
their idm favorite beer, etc etc. I'm joking but maybe you can see
where I'm going. I think the number of list members who really
*are* eating out enormous chunks of their lives wringing their hands
over this whole issue may be larger than you think.
I respect that you would take a moment to give opinions and also
I was not targeting any single idm lister with my comments. Its just
that as far as I can figure, there are three individuals who
really have
the right to bitch over this issue: Plaid and BD Ken.
and I remain a fan of both Plaid and BD....while not
regarding the details of their very personal and unfortunate
difficulty they are both going through. Respect to them, I hope
they survive.
I've now received 2 emails in private agreeing with my comments
and 2 public emails which disagree with me. I don't wish to thread this
so sorry in advance. Anyone who wants to write on this, please do so
in private.
Thanks.
Peter
