unfortunately hyperprism seems to be the best real-time commerical software for dicking with pitch via a graphic interface, although there may be shareware programs i've never heard of. actually, i've gotten some interesting scratching-sounding stuff with sound designer 2's scrub mode while fucking around at work. there are other programs which emulate turntable-ish slow downs or speed-ups, but i don't know of any that work in real time. np: seefeel "when face was face" "a dream is worth a thousand pictures, the mouths of lampreys a thousand more..."
