Absolutely - just for the fact that the purpose and history of numbers stations scares the hell outta me.

Absolutely not - lots of different voices, background noises, music, etc. Some stations are morse, some are noise, some are English, some Slavic, some Spanish, etc.

Check the Irdial site. :-) They've got a *massive* set of pages up on it - www.pcug.co.uk/~irdial. Don't think the stuff is in RealAudio, but there are digitized clips.
