To follow-up on the Tortoise talk:
Along with "Millions Now Living...," i think their debut self-titled
release is pretty damn amazing as well ..
and on an IDM-related note, Tortoise released (i believe) 5 vinyl gems
with remixes from "Millions Now Living..." which i think is amazing.
They recently rereleased these mixes on CD .. but it's a Japanese import
and will probably set you back about $25-$30. but i think it's well worth
it. remixes by U.N.K.L.E., Spring Heel Jack, Luke Vibert, and more!
amazing little album if you can search it out..
by the way, anyone know the title of the remix album for their first
release? i think it's been out of print for quite some time...but if
anyone knows where i can find it .. please let me know ! thanks!
and one final thing, if anyone has any info. about their new upcoming
release .. please fill me in .. thanks again!
