it is a particular sample--it's the break from "amen, brother" by
the winstons (i believe, my memory may be failing me). it's a hard
soul-funk tune from the 70s. i always wonder if any of those guys (the
winstons) know that an entire genre of music has been founded largely upon
one break from one song they made. sounds like some type of sci-fi
scenario...
