I know exactly what you mean as I was at the show also. I own quite a few Ninja discs and although they are great the don't contain much of the frenzied jungle beats that were played on Saturday night. The re-fried food remix album as recommended by others will not meet you requirements with the exception of the squarepusher track. If you haven't already, do check out squarepusher's latest (they even included Vic Acid in their set). I'm not sure if thats it for the current Ninja Stealth tour but if it comes you way don't miss it. Today I put on my Can'tStand the Beatz....etc. comp, and noticed, well, everything seemed REALLY slow in comparison to what was presented live. Obviously Funki Porcini(who spun some jungle type stuff, which seems to depart from the his cds that i own), the Up Bustle and Out djs and everyone there Sat. would spin stuff that was faster and got the crowd dancing...maybe most of it wasn't their material, but, well, my question: I don't have that much N.T. stuff, can anyone recommend some material by people on this label that appraoches the style(faster trip-hop/ trip-hop jungle mesh)of their live stuff? I'd really appreciate it :) thanks andy ps this is not to say that i don't enjoy the laid back, jazzy trip-hop stuff I've got, I really like that as well, but I think i need to explore this genre more....
