The oven should be set as low as it can be, with the door half-open. And this is only to save a record you could otherwise never play! Weights are available that will help flatten a record temporarily. One weight for the center and a heavy loop for the outside. It's easy to find a regular piece of metal for the center. That will help a "dish warp", for one side anyway... Turntables are available with a vacuum pump that holds the vinyl firmly on the platter. Audiophile stuff... --Mark
