I was in the office, and my boss told me to make photocopies, and I as
I begrudgingly got to this mindless task, I began listening to all the
noises around the office. Quite soon the copier began to sound like a
good loop (kind of like the "where time becomes a loop" thing..). The
typing noises of the computer keyboards also merged into a melodic
rythm that colored the copier looping over and over.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew of IDM artists that took natural
noises and sampled them in their music. I know Riz Maslen (Neotropic)
does it, and I read somewhere that Howie B. sampled silence in some of
his pieces, but are there any others?
