After watching the 2nd amp show, a huge discussion ensued in my living
room regarding all the topics we have been batting around here on IDM
for quite a while.
As it wore me out and I have little steam left, I'll just say that I
thought they researched this show quite a bit better then the last, as
far as demographics and manipulation of their target audience. The
first show was a bit more eclectic and this one had all the groups that
ARE going to break thru to the mainstream market. Read: Vocals. Also
necessary to sell this to the kids is a recognizable face or faces, ALA
the prodigy. Many of these videos are already in regular rotation, and
the writings on the wall.
