The Art of Noise has some good stuff too and Ultramarine use vocal 'percussion' on some tracks off United Kingdom. I wonder if you could get a song going using just minimal effects. Have spoken word parts by people with really different voices and just layer and loop them (or get text parts which are naturally loopy, like poetry with repeated phrases). I wish I had some sampling equipment. [fletcher]
