I've been thinking that I'd like to do a similar thing, that is, sample a
bunch of strange vocal sounds/words and then mutate them to the
point that they are unrecognizable so that they can be used as
percussive effects.
The only examples I can think of that come close to this are Kraftwerk's
"Boing Boom Tschak", those laughing and wheezing samples
on the Ventolin EP, and that karate stuff on _Salsa with Mesquite_.
