Agreed - I thought _Bytes_ was cack after the first few listens. But, _Pine_ isn't one of those albums that is going to be played in 25 years. Its *good* but compared with _Bluff_ and _Tango_ it's patchy and uncohesive. And remember that when people (like me) have reviewed it, we have done so on the basis of one or two listens - I could wait a year or so before reviewing it to gauge properly how I feel about it.
