no, it's not an ideal choice for ya. it's a good General MIDI synth, but as such it cannot use new samples and the programmability of the sounds is greatly limited. It's quite alot more (3X the price or so) but the only plugin card for the mac that i would recommend is the Samplecell II setup, which is extremely nice. on the other hand, you can get some midi sequencing software, a midi connector for your mac, and a used EPS sampling keyboard w/2mb for $800 or so probably. that's the way to go, unless you could be talked into buying a PC where boards that have alot of the functionality of the samplecell start at a mere $100 :) - Dan lo.fat.sig - The 8-Bit Collective/8-Bit Records * US/Finland - lo.fat.sig http://freedom.wit.com/~klf/klfhome.html * Dan Nicholson +1-908-687-3479
