Yes, folks more stuff on greg Vs the nasty oppressive US and their continuing campaign to enforce compulsory ear plug wearing. This definately doesn't belong here, like CD stuff, (and I'm sorry Brian), but it is all fairly amusing. And the last thing I have to say on the topic publicly. I'm very sorry to hear this.

You mean they couldn't hear anything either? :) I get your point tho' and it's a very valid one, but in the same way, back country natives don't suffer from passive smoking or the risk of being killed in car crashes or many types of city pollution. We all live with certain risk factors and other 'definate' disabling factors. You'd think every body would try to minimize them, but they don't (for what ever irrational reason) and hence people do still smoke (I don't, because I don't want to *die* or suffer gangrene etc etc.) They are aware of the fact it will kill them, yet still do it. But hey, that's the world we live in! I am aware of the fact that listening to very loud music will damage my hearing. I take every precaution to minimize this risk, but at the end of the day I'm willing to live with it because. a) I don't *actively* try to damage my hearing (unlike the analagous smokers), in a way I suffer directly from an equivalent to passive smoking. b) This damage won't actually kill me. (Alas bass isn't that loud/low). Smokers will be killed.

Nah, you don't want to talk to doctors, they're all failed scientists! :)

It's funny you should mention that..... Do you wear a seat belt? Always? Or do you defend you right to be thrown through a wind screen? (Mmmm, actually this is a bit of a shaky point 'cos I don't know in which state you live and I'm not 100% sure of which states enforce and which don't). But then that's a risk factor I'm willing to take :) greg (Wondering why I bring all this crap upon myself) Oh, BTW I under stand *you* don't want to *enforce* ear plugs. Or do you? Think about it.
