Disclaimer: I certainly am no purveyor of all, some of these records were
just random selections, but these are the best of the random...so...
1. Ambush "Mash the place up!" compilation- Dom Wabana (Yeah I know it's
older material, blah, a great compilation of a label that I was rarely able
to find, noisy breaks well-done)
2. Solvent- Solvently one Listens- Suction Records (Lovely, dorky bubble
melodies, can't resist it, you're not supposed to.)
3. DJ Scud/Shizuo- Guncourt 7" (Rocks through and through, only two tracks
on the 7" but there's a lot of break-rocking and screaming on the way, so
thoroughly block-cocking.)
4. Nobukazu Takemura- Meteor- Thrill Jockey (I love this record, I think
it's intricate, extremely well-recorded and very evocative)
5. Gas- Oktember- Mille Plateaux (My first and favorite exposure to the Gas
phenomena, didn't like Konigsforst as much though sadly.)
6. Dr. Israel- Inna City Pressure- (Reggae mixed with jungle mixed with
rock, a very diverse album, I personally love it.)
7. Thomas Brinkmann- Max/Ernst- (Beautiful minimal sounds that must be
turned up very loud)
8. Bombardier- Violence- Vinyl Communications (Unprecedented
noize-gabber-breakbeat assault, it's about hurting you)
9. Scrot Nature/Nurture EP-Amputate 004- Amputate (Absolutely
rocking...record, dunno how to describe it, heavy breathing into...rock...)
10. Low Profile Killers- Prone 001
Thus.
