Kruton - Tri-pull - 12" - Pure Plastic - pp019 Pure Plastic turns in new ways, moving up towards experimental jazzy techno. Kruton is a pseudonym for Milo Smee. This fine four tracker opens with the track Tri-pull, fine jazzy beats come together with an thin melody going round. Breaks take in a more central place in the second track Wet-smack. A strongly electro influenced track, pretty compact, exiting all the way. Drums take a leading way in the experimental track Pebbled on the b-side, together with the some nervous synths and a funky bass. Juicy end of the record forms the Midnight Funk Association, label boss Broom takes it fresh in the deep, in style of As One fine Planetary Folklore album. Up next on Pure Plastic will be a release by Stasis as The Ted Howler Combo. ____________________________________ forcefield | mindless entertainment http://www.sonik.demon.nl/forcefield .. brian rachielles kcsb 91.9 fm santa barbara http://www.rain.org/~audio icq: 12645306
