We hope you had a lovely holiday season and things are going well for
you. This January Electrosputnik celebrates its first birthday, and
we would like to thank each and every one of you for your interest
and support it truly means a lot to our team, as well as the labels
and artists working with us.
This time round we would like to introduce several new additions to
our catalogue.
We have added another Russian music label to our list, called Dars
Records. The label was founded in the city of Chelyabinsk in 2004,
and Electrosputnik is proud to be the first shop to stock their most
recent IDM compilation entitled Music of Deneb.2099, featuring
tracks from such artists as Fizzarum, EU and Syntetika amongst
others.

Another set of new additions come from the already familiar Kama
Records. Kama has recently printed a new series of CD-R re-releases
of their titles from the 1990s previously available on cassettes
only. Electrosputnik currently carries four titles from the series,
which include albums by Izhevsks electronic artists Birdwood,
Amalthea, Cocoa Tunez and Stereosobaka. The music ranges from IDM and
electronica (Stereosobaka) to moody easy-listening and chill-out
(Amalthea, Cocoa Tunez) and atmospheric guitar sounds (Birdwood).
