Ear Candy in Missoula is a great store. http://www.earcandymusic.biz I know a couple of the cats that run it and they keep an excellent selection of IDM/Experimental/techno. If you ever find yourself in Missoula, be sure to stop by there for even more treasures :) On Friday, November 14, 2014, Clint Anderson <clinta@gmail.com> wrote:

One of the owners (Chris Henry) is a big IDM head. His girlfriend just started a festival out there this summer modeled after fests like Mutek, Communikey, and Decibel but on a much smaller scale. Some of their headliners this year were John Tejada, Lusine, Mr. Projectile, and Clinker. Myself and Gel-Sol were out there doing our Monster Planet thing. Easily one of my favorite festival experiences this summer. Here's their website: http://www.datmusicconference.com I can't wait to go back next year. Great store (Ear Candy). When we went to Missoula in August, I bought roughly 30 records there, mostly old 70s stuff, and the prices were pretty cheap. I recently bought the new FSOL from them online, which was the cheapest option at the time from the US.  My favorite record stores in Seattle are the Sonic Boom in Ballard and Jive Time in Fremont.  Jive Time is not cheap, and doesn't really specialize in electronic music. I collect mostly 60s/70s music, so it's great for me, but not my wallet. And yeah, the DAT Music Conference was a terrific experience. We're hoping we can return and play next year! Amoeba is cool, but kinda pricey. I can't attest to their mail order cause I just go to the one in hollywood. http://www.amoeba.com/ Rasputin tends to have better prices, I actually like it alot better than amoeba, I really wish we had a location here in LA. Again I can't attest to their mail order cause I just pop in whenever I find myself in the bay. http://shop.rasputinmusic.com/ On Fri, Nov 14, 2014 at 4:04 PM, Kurtis Hoekstra <khoekstra123@gmail.com> wrote:

I opened up a store about 7 years ago. My belonging to this list probably speaks to some of what we stock (a lot of everything). Check it out if you like. It's my favorite (biased opinion).
