Hey everybody
Its that time of year. A chill is in the air, the leaves are turning and
its time for a new release. Velapene Screens debut EP 'Velatision'. For
those of you whove heard his tracks on the 'Crash Redevelopment'
compilation or seen him playing shows around New York, you know how sweet
he is. For those of you who havent, what the fuck are you waiting for?
Clips are available on the site -
http://www.coad.to. The disc comes out
October 21.
So Velatision will be in stores in the next month or so. Please feel
free, if your local shop doesnt have it (or Crash...and what a surprise
that
would be), to point them in our direction. They can get in touch with us
at info@coad.to or they can contact our distributor - Rhythmic
Distribution. Its greatly appreciated. In the meantime, the very fine
publication Grooves has done a profile on us in their latest issue.
Thanks go out to them for that. Pick up a copy and read all about our
short, but illustrious, history and other things musical. Crash
Redevelopment has also gotten some real sick reviewscheck it if you
havent. There are clips of both discs in the releases section of the
site. Crash has garnered some badass reviews as well..those will be up in
the press section in the next couple weeks.
we realize that our shit is a little difficult to find so if you cant then
bug your local store. we will be adding a paypal store to the site also
in the next couple weeks or so which will make getting stuff easier.
If youre in or around NYC Tuesday, October 21 were having a release party
for Screen's new jam and everyone is welcome. Screen will drop joints
along with Aaron Spectre (Opiate NYC) and Aarktika throwing down tunes
along with Jedi (co.ad.dj) and unit (co.ad.owner) slinging discs. Its all
going down at Openair which is located at 121 St. Marks Place just west of
Ave A. The shit starts at 8pm and goes until you stop downing drinks and
realize that you gotta at least be able to get up at 7 to call in sick on
Wednesday. And who the hell wants to work anyways so we're betting that
weekday sickness is more appealing.
the release schedule for the next half a year or so is looking about like
this..
