"DETROIT" - our experiment in culture transplantation and mixup, continues this week - this Sunday night at the Skylark.
Opening up, DJ 12 Mile, moonlighting from his drummer gig in Pirate Radio, will rock the D's rawkus garage noize and irresistable Motown charms of old. Later, Baby Daddy will hop on the decks and whirl out a bpm ranging hot mixx across other side of Detroit's soundscape (that is... distinctive hip hop, proper techno, the deepest house, electro neuroses, new school IDM, and ghetto freak festivity).
As always, the inventive bar staff at the Skylark will conjure up their own mixes to insure your Monday morning hangover is well worth it.
