My cd promo copy of Dead Cities has 15 track titles on the liner notes, yet the cd has only 13 tracks on it. Anybody know what the correct track list is? Thx

It's not just your promo - my regular store-bought disc also's got that funny overlong tracklisting... But still... ,---- [ http://www.futuresoundoflondon.com/shop/deadc.html ] | (1)HERD KILLING | (2)DEAD CITIES | (3)HER FACE FORMS IN SUMMERTIME | (4)WE HAVE EXPLOSIVE | (5)EVERYONE IN THE WORLD IS DOING SOMETHING WITHOUT ME | (6)MY KINGDOM | (7)MAX | (8)ANTIQUE TOY | (9)QUAGMIRE | (10)GLASS | (11)YAGE | (12)VIT DROWNING | (13)THROUGH YOUR GILLS I BREATHE | (14)FIRST DEATH IN THE FAMILY `---- I'd say that number 14 is the "hidden" (bah!) guitar-laden track that's tacked onto track 13 with some silence inbetween. -- Kurt Bernhard Pruenner --- Haendelstrasse 17 --- 4020 Linz --- Austria .......It might be written "Mindfuck", but it's spelt "L-A-I-N"....... np: Autophonic - Mind The Dot (MAS Confusion comp.) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

<<I'd say that number 14 is the "hidden" (bah!) guitar-laden track that's tacked onto track 13 with some silence inbetween.>> No, more correctly that's "Dead Cities Reprise," referenced in the liner notes: "Dead Cities re-prise recorded by Simon Wells at Headstone Lane..." The trick is that "Vit Drowning" and "Through Your Gills I Breathe" are both in track 12. The tracklisting, then goes like this: 1. Herd Killing 2. Dead Cities 3. Her Face Forms in Summertime 4. We Have Explosive 5. Everyone in the World is Doing Something Without Me 6. My Kingdom 7. Max 8. Antique Toy 9. Quagmire / In a State of Permanent Abyss 10. Glass 11. Yage 12. Vit Drowning / Through Your Gills I Breathe 13. First Death in the Family / Dead Cities Reprise This is the same order as reflected here on this fansite: http://www.futuresoundoflondon.fsnet.co.uk/deadcities.htm Also, this order makes the most sense to me, since track 12 is actually clearly divided into two distinct parts . Also, the credit for track 14 having a "mouth whistle" sample in the liner notes points to "First Death in the Family" actually being track 13. It's a mess. Love the album, regardless. -Warren / Dub Jay --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
