We all know that if it's not warp and/or readily available on cd then it's not worth discussing. I'd love to talk about how great the solotempo 12" is on http://www.spezialmaterial.ch/ but I'm not going to because it's not appropriate for this list. I'm not going to say that it's the best IDM record I've heard all year nor am I going to say that everyone should go out and get it and pay more attention to this label. Well I'll second the motion - at least for the SpezialMaterial label. Their first release goes down as one of my favorite IDM albums of all time. Unfortunately I think it was limited to something like 100 copies. Still, the shit's amazing and it's nice to see a full release from them in the form of Solotempo. Nice packaging on all their releases too !
