in case you missed it, diagram's dreams recently became
reality - kids living in the suburban chaos of
middle-america walmarts and sav-ons have been able to
read about him these past few months in publications such
as cmj weekly, bpm culture, mixer, xlr8r, urb, and the
wierdest of all, a feature review in spin magazine.

and...uhh... dosc?

qp is currently hard at work on his 'PPP' record. PPP
stands for "plastiq phantom people" and is in a sense
a concept album: qp recording friends in a live setting,
sampling, and re-sequencing them into stunningly beautiful
pieces. various conspirators include seth warren (violinist
from the red stars theory), andy sells (drummer for fcs
north), josh warren (bassist for fcs north, ex-satisfact),
k.o. (of iqu), dj suspence, brian (formerly of dub narcotic
sound system), the snodgrass (imputor?), and many others.
8-track CD/LP, joint release with the UK label liquefaction
empire. also of note, nautilis has just released "sketches,"
a 12" EP on mike paradinas' planet-mu imprint containing a
remix of qp's "492 cups to china." it's available at warp
mart if it's not already sold out.
