You should be able to save it as a wav file from WinAmp. Use the Disk Writer output plugin. Then open it in Goldwave, etc. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

If Goldwave is crashing while deflating the MP3, your machine might not have the memory/space to accommodate a WAV that long - WAV files are 10MB per minute, so 2.5 hours would be 1.5GB, a pretty hefty file. ----- Original Message ----- From: "No one in particular" <idm@cocksalad.com> To: "s r" <svinrave@yahoo.com> Cc: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Saturday, March 30, 2002 6:01 PM Subject: Re: [idm] mp3 editing

that mashine has 20gig HD with almost 15gig free space and 256 ram memory. seems like enough.. It runs win 2000, profesional edition ( amn M$!) could it be that the maximum size of TEMP files is specified somewhere?????? there is some error at 65minute in the file and the rest of the file has no sound. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
