you might want to check out _swallow_ ? a rather unknown 4AD band -
reminiscent of slowdive, mbv and early lush stuff. also, the early albums of
'ecstasy of st. theresa', especially Fluidtrance Centauri.
of course, imo, nothing will ever compare to slowdive...but i'm still
looking.
