Well it only has the USB connection to transmit MIDI....as far as I know...and that sucks....well it would be ok if you only use a computer and software, then it would be ideal. However not having the option of standard MIDI I/O limmits live potential and other engineering possabilities that go beyond the use of a computer. In a small set up, one with only rack-mounts and a computer, or one with only a computer with good software this would be worth the buy for a young artist.
