Subject: [idm] IDM-list Archive
Since a couple of people have asked about it recently,
and no one's responded on-list yet, here's what I
know:
The automatically-updated IDM-list archives are
located at
http://music.hyperreal.org/lists/idm/archives/
There's one big, long text file for each month, and
most of them are all gzipped (and for good reason).
If you want to search them, your best (and only, so
far) bet is to download everything and unzip it all
into a local folder. Then you can grep or use
windows' "find" function to search for specific text.
You'll also notice the archives for the now-defunct
IDM-reviews mailing list are held here. For some
reason, as of May 2001, it's begun auto-archiving that
list again, even though there have been no messages
and those recent archives are empty.
I'm not associated with Hyperreal or anybody else
involved in running this or other lists - I'm just
passing on what I know.
