simply beautiful. i was quite amaized at the audience size. it was
absolutely nuts to try to put them on the underground stage. trying to
manuver at all was impossible. i tried to snake my way back from the stage
rail ablut 45 minutes into it and it took me till the end of the set to get
there due to the mob of people. absolutely great. i might sound like an
idiot here but, does anyone know who the guy was that was spinning cds
before autechre, durring the intermission? i was quite thrilled to hear boc
mixed into old school techno, that was definately cool.
kit clayton was also impressive. after about 15 minutes of straight
noise he cleared out all the e-tards and candy ravers for a little elbow
room for me to enjoy the rest of his set. it was funny watching people
realise that his set up was on the other wall, and not on the real stage.
people all standing around going "um, ok, i hear somthing, but where the
hell?.....". that was a cool trick his lady friend was using to display
video. cup + random stuff = good
i didnt get the grace of catching prefuse73 but from what i heard, it was a
good show.
so there. thats my first and only post about autechre since the confield
explosion. ta-da.
mike
p.s.- anyone else catch the fuzzy guy punching the air near the back?
freaky.
