I thought it was rediculously far-fetched as well, but
come on, are you telling me it's impossible to
transfer information from a Mac to a PC or Unix box?
Hello, what are we doing right now?
All Mr. Goldblum had to do was write a virus for the
alien computer systems, figure out how their computer
systems communicated, and then connect and transfer!
It's really quite simple. The Mac had nothing to do
with it.
