I really don't think the CDrs are going anywhere. They are great
to get out to DJs and press people to get a buzz going before
a release gets press. Most DJs like getting the stuff early and somewhat exclusive even if it is on CDR. Even saying the material
is totally finished, you still generally have a 2-3 weeks

sometimes. Some people work on 3-4 month lead times. It's a pretty lofty
assumption that we're even close to being so organised as to have all parts
for a new release that far ahead.
