Blake Baxter is a longtime Detriot techno producer
who's released almost 50 eps and albums on a variety
of labels including Underground Resistance, Disko B,
Tresor, Incognito, ESP, Logic, R&S, Red Zone, KMS,
Music Man, Ultimatium Trax to name just a few.
"The Prince of Techno" was the title of one of his
early releases on the Underground Resistance label
and the name was supposedly due to his use of
explicit lyrics in some of his tracks much in the same
way Prince (or Artists Formerly Known As Prince) did
in his early days.
