So, according to some press release I read (from warp?), all the sounds on Lipswitch were computer-generated, "programmed" by Mr. Devine. Like, he supposedly used no samples that he did not create with his computer, right? So how come I distinctly hear voices in track 6? Did he program the voices, too, or is this another example of Warp (or Schematic?) spreading little falsehoods (a la RDJ's tendency to lie) in order to make more people buy the music? I still love the music, but I'm curious how much the "company line" is really just a line... -Adam -- Adam Piontek [http://www.tcinternet.net/users/damek/] ICQ: 3456339 [damek@earthling.net] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I'm sure he makes noises anyway he can. He assembles tracks from samples he's created and found. Though you can synthesize voices. kent williams -- kent@avalon.net http://www.cornwarning.com -- Iowa's First Techno Record Label http://www.mp3.com/chaircrusher -- tunes On Sat, 17 Feb 2001, Adam Piontek wrote:

has anyone noticed how much the remix he did for rdj's "come to dady" sounds like track 3 on lipswitch? Is this on purpose or did he just feel like using the left over scraps to make a "new" track? poo. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
