This kind of relates back to the recent thread about how to explain what IDM sounds like to others. I happened to be watching TV with the closed captioning on, when one of the Coke commercials featuring Amon Tobin's music came on. The caption read "hypnotic sound loop playing". It's a shame that all that money that Coke spent for rights to use that song was summarized in such commercial terminology. Someone could've got creative with that one. Luckily, Deaf people can totally understand IDM. You just have to play it really fucking loud so they can feel the vibrations.
