Everything I begin to type to comment on this I end up deleting (until this) because I think, "Wow, it's so dumb that I feel dumb for explaining how dumb it is to people who surely can't be that dumb that they need it explained to them." If I have to carry a gun or a knife with me to a club/concert/football match then damn, I don't wanna go and I would feel less safe even if I did go armed knowing that everybody else might be. i think his tiny mind is trying to say "one armed man can be overpowered by many unarmed bystanders" if someone is standing there with a machine gun willing to use it, i'm not running up to him alone and attempting to hit him with a phone. i guess you could load up one of those sound player apps and pretend you were firing at him as you approached? nah... the guy is a bell end of the highest order.
