hmmm... what kind of cpu do you have lee? i noitce 0 lag on my g4/400 - but - oddly enough - i have noticed that the two g4s at school exhibit VERY different performance than mine at home - same model bought at the same time - granted i have more ram at home and a slightly different hardware/software situation but i am the one who setup those machines at school (so i dont think its a config issue) and their performance is drastically slower then mine. they take forever to wake up from sleep. they take *forever* to boot up - waiting on a grey screen for like 3-4 minutes (i've checked to make sure its not looking for a network server, turned off the memory test, few other things.. any ideas???) and in general don't perform as well as the one i have at home. weird. some mac-made music: www.soundmangle.com/mp3s/mintyfresh-stitch.mp3 enjoy! :) peace ben -- ben milstein aka mintyfresh www.soundmangle.com - your tree for stinky munky noises... --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

[then slightly muffled] can I get a good God damn" Might not be IDM but couldn't tell you as this is the only part of the song i remember. Thanks much. The fact of the matter is that Mac and PC are basically the same. you can do the same things on both. It just comes down to interface preference. I could care less what platform a person chooses. I personally use PC. It all depends on what you like. But they do the same things. Peace, Chad
