question - with all this talk of tech-house/minimal
techno (luomo, etc.) lately, i'd sent off a list of
label recommendations. someone (one of the jeffs
maybe?) hit me back with a reply and mentioned the
klang label. i knew of it, but am almost embarrassed
to admit i really hadn't delved into it though i'm all
about perlon, basic channel, and similar stuffs. for
some reason i'd always written it off as similar to
all the studio one releases, which imho are good but a
little too sparse and samey-same sounding to my ears.
but i came across a couple 12"s on klang in a shop
this weekend and was impressed. i know i dig the
farben and modernist stuffs already, just wondering if
anyone else had specific faves or recommendations
among the back catalog? if you're so kind as to reply
to this one, please cc: me also - been scanning
digests really quickly lately, too much input...
