"I seem to remember, a couple of years ago, coming across a piece of
software for the Mac that acted like a synthesizer. It was kinda cheesy and
yet kinda fun to fiddle with. It came complete with knobs to tweak and
create various sounds, drum sounds you could quantize, and even a couple of
"effects" you could add to finish off the tune. It was completely
self-enclosed meaning you couldn't pipe in any sound or effect that wasn't
built into the software... but for what it was... (a fun toy)... it was
pretty cool."
