You know, when I first read about those Sony Music bastards re-creating
that UR track for their CD because, naturally, UR wouldnt give them the
time of day - it disgusted me, but I didnt think it was that big of a
deal until it really sunk in. But then the more I thought about it, I
just madder and madder I got, and now I friggin glowing-red wicked pissed
off!!
For whatever B.S. reason ("it unites techno-fans that splintered in
different genres after the breakup of Techno-House of the early 90's"),
the bottom line is that Sony Music only cares about selling McUnits, and
NOT about ART!!!! UR has a certain mindset, and from this springs their
art. Their philosophy is obviously anti-major label, and thats how they
like it, PERIOD!!. Sony Music's A&R can look elsewhere for their talent,
because NO MEANS NO!
Sony Music has truckloads of lawyers, so they have a might-is-right
attitude about this and the fact theyd do this againsts UR's wishes is
TERRIFYING. its sets a precedent that can only lead to even worse crimes
against underground music (and the artists who CANT afford lawyers) and I
believe that every real fan should make it their duty to let these
Mega-Corp Thieves know exactly how they feel! If you havent gone to the
