That was the band's old technique--I think they're doing things somewhat
differently these days. Claudia Newell (not Julia) wrote a lot of the
material in the very early days; I don't think she's in the band at the
moment, but Jeremy Novak is currently running the show (his early
compositional technique was pretty similar to hers). Jeremy's been in
Dymaxion since pretty much the beginning, and does really interesting
stuff; all four 7"s, if I remember correctly, have two tracks by Jeremy and
two by Claudia.
