If the CD in question had been a freebie giveaway promo by MASK/ F'roung/
Autechre or any of the other idm idols, there would have been no discussion
on this issue.
In fact, threads would arise on how cool it was that someone had one available:
" Dude, that free CDR that RDJ ( fill in the idm blank ) made only for the
idm list and his grandma! Dang dude, that's some rare shit."
And Thad would have gotten $80 instead of $8 for it.
Having recently read up on a Current 93 auction where a comic book hand
drawn and colored by David Tibet and his pals ( as a private freebie
edition of like 20 ) started bids at $1,000.00 , nothing suprises me.
