if this gig is being put on by RITUAL Events (the promoters who usually do Atlas's gigs) Please BOYCOTT these fucking assholes. They treat us music loving fanatix like trash, charge us money in addition to cover for standing in a particular locale of the restaurant, can't get people like Ms. Andrea Parker the minimum of a taxi back to her hotel, tell us "you know where the door is" when we offer simple criticisms like "hey the sound system tonite isn't doing so well, next time you should prolly rent something better." threaten to hurt our own Chris Bradbury (of KUCI fame) for offering other suggestions on how to improve the quality of their events. Ritual Events are typical LA snobs who know diddly about providing a good gig. They think all you have to do is bring in a certain act to town and that's it. Not so IMO. just a warning, gilly ps: Banco de Gaia is boring now. -- "It takes 1000 Dj's to make one good programmer"- Atom Heart.

Banco de Gaia has always been boring. Makes more sense now that he's recording proper for a newage (re: sewage) label here in the states. Aa np: well, nothing. but the phono records end of the beginning disc 2 mix has been locked in my car cd player for about a week now. between that disc, t-power's "self-evident truth + chronology", sasha and digweed's "expeditions" (hush, you in the audience... it's good, really!) and some random chicago house discs have taken me from pittsburgh to chicago to toronto in the last week. 1400 miles and counting....

Then you're fucking MISSING the point. His second CD on "Last Train to L'Hasa" is still one of my favorites. Not to say that most of people whom I got to listen to it fell in love with it immediately. It's fantastic but unfortunately it's not idm and all of you prefer to say it's boring then to say it ambient and I am not into it at all. btw. other BDG stuff is rather boring indeed. 8) Alien
